about
This has come from a deep place. There is something wrong with us when we think it is okay to traumatize our children and others with the idea of a burning lake of fire. There is also something very scary about the fact that most of the world (because of their ideologies) are waiting with excitement for the end so that they can go live in paradise. I hope this initiates doubt in people so that they start taking time to really understand their beliefs. Dedicated to my hero Christopher Hitchens, who was not afraid to speak out against this insanity. Speaker credit to Christopher Hitchens
lyrics
Well the darker age has ended* in its burning memory* Still we fight with the shadows that keep us in our haze* and you are born into perception and unsilenced from within it will find you and make you its slave* Chorus If your heaven is not for sinners*even though I know they tried* Then they're out banging on the pearly gates* to their loved ones locked inside* If the best of their intentions* Just weren't good enough to tell* then your heaven is somebodies hell. verse 2 Fear is the mother of the gods who saved your soul* they are the old men, the writers, of the stories we are told Chorus--Bridge Paradise isn't a place, its the light I see in you, its your love its your hear and I feel it in me too
